God has allowed children to have learning, attention, and intellectual disabilities, and other special needs. Yet despite differences, all children deserve a sense of hope and the opportunity to receive a Christian education. The Success in Academics program provides this “hope” and opportunity to children with special needs.
Brunswick Christian Academy’s Success in Academics program provides children an opportunity to receive a Christian education using their God-given strengths and abilities. BCA seeks to provide a Christian education to any child to provide resources to meet their needs effectively. Success in Academics teachers, general education teachers, and administrators work with parents and students to provide appropriate challenges, support, and hope when home-schooling and public schools cannot provide challenges or supports for academic, social, and spiritual growth to meet your child’s needs.
Experienced Success in Academics staff provide curricula-based support in the general education classroom for students with documented learning needs. Curricula-based support consists of instructional, classwork, homework and/or testing accommodations. BCA also offers a modified and differentiated curriculum for children with documented cognitive needs. Academic instruction and content are individualized through a thoughtfully developed Success in Academics Plan and provided in the least restrictive environment.
