Ms. Herring
Success in Academics Director Ms. Herring is orginally from Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood / Special Education from the College of Coastal Georgia in 2020. Ms. Herring has been teaching for two years and started her teaching career at Brunswick Christian Academy. She loves working at BCA because the staff is like family, and she loves working with all the students. Ms. Herring wanted to become a teacher due to her struggles as a kid, and she wants students behind her to have a better learning environment than she had growing up. She works at the retail store called Go Fish, spending time with family and friends, and she loves to go shopping in her spare time.

Ms. Morse
Success in Academics Instructor Ms. Katherine Morse is originally from the DC Metro area of Virginia. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology and a minor in archaeology from Sweet Briar College in 2001, a Bachelor of Science in psychology with a concentration in human services in 2014 from the College of Coastal, and a Masters in Marketing, 2020, from Southern New Hampshire University. Currently, she is attending Georgia Southern University, completing a Masters in Art of Teaching, Special Education P-12.
Her diverse background and years of working with special education students in the public school and with nonprofits help her relate and work with her Success in Academics students. Ms. Morse grew up with special educations needs and has adapted well to them as an adult. She uses her experience to teach students that success is possible even when the work is challenging. Ms. Morse started with BCA in November of 2020. |
