Mrs. Crews was born in Germany and lived in Maryland for 15 years before moving to Brunswick Georgia in 2000. She is a class of 2003 Glynn Academy graduate. She has a Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Christian Studies. In addition to being our Preschool Director she is a wife and mother. She serves along side her husband in ministry serving young couples and their families. She is passionate about the family unit and seeing it thrive. Her children attend BCA as well. She is a second year teacher and is really enjoying being a part of the family at BCA. |
Our preschool children learn to read phonetically and write in cursive as well as recognize, spell and write their name. We begin number recognition to 30; language development including geography, community helpers and identification of all types of land and sea animals. Students attend weekly chapel services including bible study and verse memorization. And we have lots of fun too! BCA has a playground and students participate in arts & crafts, sing-a-longs with dance & sign motions and many other fun activities! Registration of preschool is open year round.
Preschool Learning Objectives: 2 year olds: -Foundational academic concepts like counting to 2 and number concepts to 5 -Toilet Training -Social skills- including, manners, sharing, and communication -Hand and fingers skills to improve fine motor skills -Language development -Cognitive skills -Bible curriculum 3 year olds: -Mastery of tw year old class plus exposure to phonics, numbers to 20, art, poetry, Bible lessons, writing first name -Continue towards mastery of social skills like sharing and communicating effectively with words |
Our prekindergarten students begin to learn to read and write in cursive with phonics. Additionally, students learn number recognition and will be able to count to 100. Students attend weekly chapel service; bible study and memorization are taught as well. Spanish is also a part of our Pre-K program. Pre-K students also have fun in drama and music and present a year-end program! Pre-K students wear uniforms and begin their day at 8am.
