Mr. Doug Roberson
Mr. Doug Roberson has been teaching here at Brunswick Christian Academy for 16 years. His children, Joshua and Cristen, both attended and graduated from BCA. Because he was given the opportunity to teach and coach at BCA, he had the advantage of an up-close view of their education. He was impressed by the A Beka college preparatory curriculum and the quality of teachers and staff loving and guiding his children. Growing up, Mr. Roberson also attended and graduated from a small Christian school. He enjoyed playing team sports and was blessed with Godly men and women as teachers, leaders, and coaches. Roberson came to understand the opportunity and importance of using athletics as a teaching tool in building positive character traits in student's lives. As an avid history buff, he enjoys rediscovering the past, with a particular love for local history and also the civil war. In Glynn and McIntosh counties, Mr. Roberson has helped on several archaeological digs with local archaeologists. His hobbies include metal detecting and collecting artifacts, then learning about his findings.
