Mrs. Elizabeth Rentz is married and has one adult son and three grandchildren who attend BCA.She has been a part of the ministry of Brunswick Christian Academy for over thirty years, serving in many different capacities.She worked for nine years with the Board of Education as a Rank II Paraprofessional with five and six-year-olds.Through this experience, and with much prayer, God showed her that she was to work in Christian education.She has been teaching five and six-year-olds since 1994. In addition to her years of experience here at BCA, she has also received extensive training from Pensacola Christian College and the Georgia Association of Christian Schools. Mrs. Rentz believes that kindergarten is full of knowledge, adventure, excitement, creativeness, inquisitive, and energetic little bodies.She says that teaching God’s truth and how to apply God’s truth in her students’ lives and in their families, is vital for each of them, and is very rewarding to her as a teacher.

Faye Sparre
Mrs. Faye Sparre has been at Brunswick Christian Academy for over forty years!She is widowed and has two adult children, 2 grandchildren, and 2 step-grandchildren.Mrs. Sparre was a founding member of BCA’s sponsoring church, First Free Will Baptist Church and participates in their music ministry.In addition to her current position at BCA of teaching first grade, she has held many other positions here, such as, teaching nursery age children, teaching K5, teaching second grade, and has even served as the principal for two years.Over the years, Mrs. Sparre has been able to lead many children to their salvation in the Lord and in turn, the children were a part of bringing their parents to the Lord.Mrs. Sparre says that this is what BCA is all about!Added to her many years of experience, she has also received extensive training from Pensacola Christian College and the Georgia Association of Christian Schools.
Second Grade
Kay Wright
Mrs. Kay Wright is new to Brunswick Christian Academy this school year. She was a pastor’s wife for 26 years but is now a widow.She was saved on September 16, 1973. She has two children, a son and a daughter, who are both married and have each given Mrs. Wright a grandson.Mrs. Wright has taught Sunday School from nursery age to teenagers.She presently teaches Sunday School for 3 year-olds.She has taught in an Accelerated Christian Education school in Florida for eight years.After the loss of her husband, she moved to Brunswick and taught a 3rd and 4th grade combination class using the A Beka curriculum at a Christian school in town.Mrs. Wright is a graduate of the Bible Baptist Institute with a degree in Theology.She loves working with children and always wanted to have four to six of her own.The Lord only gave her two children but now she has a roomful of 2nd graders to teach and to love.She says that it is a joy to teach 2nd grade when you see their faces light up when they talk about the Lord, sing a song, or learn a new concept in math.She says that she is honored to a part of their lives.Psalm 103

Alesha Rozier
Mrs. Alesha Rozier has been a part of the ministry of Brunswick Christian Academy for the past eleven years. During this time Mrs. Rozier has served in various positions throughout the school, but she feels that God has a special place for her in fourth grade. Mrs. Rozier enjoys her students and considers it a privilege to be a part of their lives. She earned her Bachelor's of Business Administration Degree from Georgia Southern University, and she is certified by the Georgia Association of Christian Schools (GACS) to teach secondary math, history, and elementary education. Mrs. Rozier is married and has two children.
Fifth Grade
Candy Anderson
Mrs. Candy Anderson came to know Jesus Christ on May 8, 1970, and she was then called into Christian education. She attended seminary, met her husband, did short-term mission work in Kenya and East Africa, and became a pastor's wife. Upon moving to Georgia she earned a Master's in Elementary education from Columbia Bible College in South Carolina. Mrs. Anderson has been employed at Brunswick Christian Academy for 22 years (as of 2016), 19 of which have been in 5th grade. In addition to loving Jesus, she loves plants, animals, history, and READING. It's her joy to bring these to the classroom to share with her inquisitive, energetic fifth graders. She is a widow with one adult married son and a little grandson.
