Dear BCA Friends:
This is a good news/bad news update. The bad news first. Mrs. Karen Johnson, our second grade teacher, will be leaving us at the end of this week. Her husband has resigned as pastor of their church (Emmanuel Baptist) and they will be moving to the Atlanta area to be closer to family. This Friday will be Mrs. Johnson’s last day at BCA. Although we tried to talk her into staying here and letting her husband move to Atlanta, we understand that they believe that this is God’s will for their family. Our prayers go with them. BCA is in the process of filling this need in our faculty. We will let you know the plans for this class as soon as we can.
Now the good news. January 23-29 is National School Choice Week. One of the blessings in life is our ability to make choices. National School Choice Week celebrates those choices with our ability to make a choice in our child’s education. Here at BCA we celebrate your choice of putting your children here at BCA. We understand that many of you sacrifice personally in order to have your children at BCA. We take the job of educating your children as a calling from God and a vital responsibility to Him and to your family. Thank you for trusting us with this awesome task and for being a part of the BCA family. During this special week we celebrate your choices with several events:
Privileged to serve Him at BCA,
Mr. Scott Birt
